performances will feature the works of composers David Lang, Leo Brouwer, Troy
Strand, Terry Riley, Frank Nuyts and other living composers.Students are welcome and encouraged to
attend.
RenegadeEnsemble
seeks to further develop and foster an audience for contemporary art music in
the upper mid-west by exposing and educating the general public to new music
through performances, collaborations, workshops, and educational outreach.RenegadeEnsemble is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization.
Future Performances
Spring/Summer 2010: a collaboration with La Bonne Chanson that will feature modern chamber
music for voice. Singers from La Bonne Chanson
plus musicians from RenegadeEnsemble in a concert of all vocal
chamber music.
Fall 2010: RenegadeEnsemble presents the "R.I.P.
Concert." A rare performance from this group including celebrated and
established works by composers who are no longer alive.
